NEW -- LEO & My Royal Robbins 5.11 Pants

Last night, I was shopping with my wife at our local mega-mall.

I was wearing my Khaki ROYAL ROBBINS 5.11 pants along with an oversized really colorful BEN SHERMAN shirt (not quite a TACTICAL and/or COP look in my humble opinion), when I noticed an uniformed LEO walking in the opposite direction that I was, coming towards me.

(NOTE: My CCW at the time was a J-Frame in my front 5.11 pocket.)

As we were about to pass each other, I made some quick eye contact with this police officer and I said "hello" to him (I think he was working off-duty at the mall), and he said to me, "...go to the XYZ Army Navy Store...they give a 20% LEO discount on the 5.11s...".

He then gave me a big smile as he walked off.



I have worn 5.11 pants and shorts for about the last 2 years or so, and this is the very first "comment" I ever had from a LEO about them.

Just another "interesting" LEO encounter while wearing the 5.11 pants!

Hey, FWIW I've lost dang near 100 pounds from the top weight, but I'm still pretty good size...

I'm not sure, but I think their waist sizing goes well into the 40s.

54" is the largest waist they make, unhemmed with 39.5" legs.
