New M9 commercial came with metal trigger...

I picked up a new M9 commercial, model J92M9AOM from local dealer via Davidsons, and it came with the M9 style Grip radius as well as a metal trigger.

It was my understanding the M9 commercial model had the same grip contour as the 92FS as well as a plastic trigger. It still has a plastic guide rode though. It also has the two dot sight.

The Military M9 I shot for quals last month had a plastic trigger and 3 dot sights, weird.

I would be outraged. I would DEMAND a plastic trigger because it'll save you some weight.

No worries right. If you don't like the plastic guide rod; buy a steel one then shoot the plastic one til it breaks. Probably be a while but peace of mind is priceless.

If the plastic one is good enough for the ones at work, it's good enough for me, same with the trigger too..but simply surprised it came with a metal one.
