New member 9mm reloading questions oal berry’s

Didn’t wait for home this afternoon and loaded some at 4.2 grains n340 and I think I’ve found a winner. Very accurate and good ejection no pressure signs and the cases are very clean. Be interesting to see how they are for velocity.

I run 3.9/4.0 Grs of N-320 under a plated “HP”, and it is very accurate, tosses brass at my feet, and is just plain fun to shoot. Runs 1050ish FPS from my 5” Colt .38 Super with a 9MM barrel.

IIRC, I’m loading them at 1.060 OAL.

I failed to mention barrel length. This is out of a 4inch barrel.

Walkalong im also shooting these out of a 5” 1911. So at 4.2 n340 which is a little slower than n320 and I’m a little shorter oal might be running close to 1100 already. They are easy and fun shooting I just pivot right and bend over to collect brass as well none mere than 3 feet away and most are closer. My 1911 is a colt competition model that is pretty heavy sprung with dual recoil spring.
