New member looking for info

Hi I was wondering if you could guys could help me.

i am just "really" getting into guns. I have some bakcground information on guns. I was wondering if you guys know of any good places or some books where i get a more indepth knowledge about gun, the innerworkings, and all that fun stuff.

Start in your local public library and read every firearm related book they have. Buy a copy of Hatcher's Notebook. About $30 at your local gun shop or Amazon.

Or, just read the posts on the board for a few days. It'll give you a pretty good picture how things work.

Consider the NRA Basic Firearms (Pistol, Shotgun, Rifle) classes. Usually offered around the country, and affordable. They would make a great foundation, and probably make anything you read make a lot more sense.
