I have been looking for 1 for a year or so.
This place is the only place I have ever seen them.
And for $75 I said ok gotta get it now. LOL
Once I get it I will post pics with it next to something a little more familure

That's pretty cool, too bad it takes 209's though. Kind of offends my traditional sensibilities :D

Is it a smoothbore or rifled? I wouldn't mind having one. The price is certainly right. It would look good with a set of nice wood grips.

I don't fault the manufacturer for using 209 primers in that gun. It's the right way to go.

I've seen copies of the .31 Colt "derringers" that use traditional #11 percussion caps. Not the best system for an inline-style gun.

Here it is

I just got it today.
It is very heavy for it size seems to be very will made.
fit and finish are very good. Locks up very tight. And has a bar saftey.
If any body wants more pics not a problem.

I didn't realize what gun you were talking about until those last pictures came in. A couple of years ago I did an inventory of a collection by a high school classmate for his widow. He had one. I really didn't believe at the time it was a real gun, and couldn't find anything about it on the internet. Finally did get a response on the Ruger forum from a person who had one. Said he'd fired it once and it darn near broke his hand. He put it away and hadn't gotten it out in over five years.

My impression of it was that it was anything but well made. It did lock up tight, but the finish and fit were very rough. The exterior was like a rough casting that had yet to be machined.

She still has the gun.

mykeal yes it has the look and feel of cast iron but the edges are clean no sharp edges to cut yourself on. For the bp crowd they also make a double barrel in .451 so I need to hunt one of them down. Report as soon as possible.
