Governor Bill Richardson will be at CNM Workforce Training center near Alameda and I-25 from 11-1400. This would be a great opportunity to talk with the Governor about the new 60/40 law which still prohibits carrying in establishments that serve liquor and mixed drinks. Places that would still be included would be Applebee's, Chili's and even Tuscano's. Please come out and let the Governor know the current 60/40 legislation is inadequete. Here is a link to KOBtv for the news story. Link

Talked with the Governor today, he is very pro-gun and stands behind the 60/40 bill and would like to include establishments such as Applebee's and Chili's. We will see.

The 60/40 bill is not great but it's another step in the right direction. We gain a little bit every time the legislature meets. It has has been many years since we really lost anything here. Hopefully, we'll get rid of that stupid 2-year refresher this year

I'd like it if he was gone in 5 minutes.
