I just got a new model army made in Spain I was wondering if a pietta or uberti conversion cylinder would fit it.

That sounds like an E. N. Santa Barbara.
I have a few, they have a good reputation and I like them.
I don't have any conversion cylinders for any of them.
If you get a hold of a conversion cylinder manufacturer like Taylor's for example, I expect they can give you a better answer. (they might ask you for some dimensions, or to send it in)
Those revolvers haven't been made in quite a while and I'd expect a wider range of tolerances with more hand fitting than a recent CNC machined revolver.

I have a pietta Remington 36 cal the cylinder from it fits the made in spain gun and the timing is right but it's a 36 cal and my made in Spain gun is 44 so I don't know if the the chambers will line up with the barrel if I buy a pietta cylinder

I may try to find d a 44 cal pietta cylinder and c if it fits before I buy a conversion cylinder. Seems to me if the pietta cap and ball cylinder works then the pietta conversion cylinder should too. But I could be wrong
