So last night I picked up a new 590 Mariner at Bass Pro Shops and was excited to take it out today and do some shooting. Shot my first round and went to eject the shell and it wouldn't slide back. I literally had to put all my strength in to it and jiggle the hell out of the front end of the gun to get it to release the shell. Dad shot a few rounds, same thing happened to him. This was with Winchester Super X heavy game loads from Walmart, which we've been using for years with my dad's 870 and my old 500. I saw a thread from 2006 of a forum member complaining about this exact issue; 5 years later and Mossberg is still having issues with "certain" types of ammo? Do you guys think it's a dud? I'm considering having Mossberg replace it, but to be honest I'm thinking I'll take my money and buy from a different manufacturer. Thoughts?
