Louisiana Shooters Unlimited is pleased to announce that we have negotiated the purchase of a 7.5 acre tract of land just south of Lake Charles, LA on which we intend to build a range and firearms training facility. Our application to the Calcasieu Parish Zoning board to build and operate an outdoor shooting range at the location will be considered at their November 17th meeting. Financing is taken care of. Once the zoning board gives us the go ahead, we will begin construction. Basic 25 yard handgun and 350 yard rifle firing lines should be available by January, 2010. Facility access will be limited to members and their guests(guest who visit more than twice a year will be asked to join.) Annual memberships will be $100 for individuals and $150 for families.
