I can't believe that only one person has responded. Went to Texas gun talk last night, and found out about the covers, that will make it alot better. Didn't see much in the way of target holders, I'll bring one. I heard that Hays county might be building a new range too.

I was there for a little while today. I had been looking for a good excuse to go and check out the range but hadn't made it out until today's event. It was a good idea to hold an open range day like that.

I made it out there today. I was very satisfied to say the least. 
It's nice to finally find a range, especially one close to me, that isn't anal retentive about things like rapid fire (as long as one observes safety rules of course and aren't a jacka$$ hehe). I will definitely be going their again, and often too.

It was pleasure meeting you hoji. It is still a diamond in the rough, it cost them five years in back farm subsidies to open that range, so everybody needs to get out there and support them. Had a great day, it was wonderful seeing every body in open carry mode. Their yearly fee is 65.00, very reasonable.

What's the name and address of the range? I live in Kyle so Lockhart is not very far.

That's where I do my shooting. Matt's a great guy and his range is a work in progress getting better each week.
On second thought, don't go. I've been enjoying having the place to myself on occasion....
Seriously, though. I usually go on a Wednesday or Thursday, which is my "weekend." Any THR folks going on those days (usually early before it's 100 degrees) PM me and maybe we can meet and shoot.

Been going on Sunday mornings myself. I wish he would start shooting earlier than 9AM, but I understand. I haven't had an issue yet opening my net and practicing something a little more realistic
