Quoting RCBS New Products web page:
Tube Pistol Bullet Feeders

These caliber-specific tube fed Pistol Bullet feeders are designed to be used with any 7/8"-14 threaded progressive press. Each clear tube holds 20-25 bullets depending on weight and profile. The Tube PBF places the bullet into the case mouth, for proper alignment, to be seated at the next station. Another added benefit is that it can be used with jacketed, plated, cast or swaged lead bullets. Increase load output up to 50-percent. Two bullet tubes are included with each unit, extra bullet tubes sold separately.

Features & Benefits
• Tube fed, allows use of jacketed, plated, cast or swaged lead bullets
• Compatible with any 7/8"-14 threaded press
• Increase load rate up to 50-percent
• RCBS® Limited Lifetime Warranty

It appears that RCBS thinks a market exists for AlliedArmory's collator-less bullet feeder idea......waiting for the price.....$28?....doubt it, but it'll be cheaper than all their past attempts at bullet feeders. They appear to be trying to beat Hornady to the market. ;)

Note that the dies are caliber specific. That means no plastic innards that convert calibers......I think that's a good thing....and notice the RED.

GW Staar, thanks for the heads up on the bullet feeder. I just with our Pro 2000's were a six station progressive so I could keep my lock out and powder check dies in use. I like to seat and crimp seperately..

Iirc the RCBS hit the market before the Hornady.

With a bullet feeder yes. But not with feeder dies dedicated to a caliber like Hornady's, which lent itself so easily to be clear tube-fed.

I successfully converted an RCBS feeder to load .9mm only using clear tubing, but I can tell ya that it wasn't easy.

The RCBS feeder has the universal sized entry hole that has to be telescoped down for the lesser calibers. I used telescoping plastic tubing glued together until it reduced down to the plastic die innards. The Hornady dedicated feeders all have varying entrance diameters, so one properly sized tube works, no fuss.

I'm betting the new "dedicated" dies are dedicated for that very reason. And the market I'm referring to is the one created by Allied Armory's idea, not the bullet feeder market in general.
