My latest purchase a 4" Ruger GP 100. I have about 200 rounds through the gun so far and have yet to do any modifications other than switching to Hogue Monogrips which were a major improvement in my opinion

I've been thinking of getting one. There are a couple in stainless at a local store for $350. I just can't warm up to Rugers though. It isn't just my distain for Bill Ruger (a seperate subject), they just feel like bricks compared to my Smith & Wessons.

But they have a great reputation for durability. I hope you have a lot of fun with yours.

Congrats - GP100's are super. They really smooth out with use too. I like my 3" stainless very much, terrific balance.

Nice purchase. The GP100 is a tough cookie. The blueing is pretty tough also.

It should last a lifetime.
