I just picked up a NIB Ruger GP100 with a 6" barrel.
It will be paired with my 16" Winchester Trapper.

It looks just like the pistol pictured below, but it has a GP100 Red Front Sight installed

Great shootin' iron.

Now go buy a couple of railroad cars full of ammo and practice, practice, practice.

I do need to stock up on .357 Mag and .38

BTW, the grip on this revolver is so much better than the one my Python had - very comfortable.

H2O MAN, you did well! The next .357 wheel gun I buy will definitely be a GP100. Actually, I was all set to buy one a few months ago. But I ran into this one before I made the purchase:

I was fortunate to be able to fire one before I plunked down the long green. And I knew then that I just had to have a 608. Ya gotta love a wheel gun that sports a cylinder as big as a roll of toilet paper. :D I've put 1,200 problem-free rounds through it so far and it is a wonderful firearm. Still, I want a GP100 and will be getting one before too awfully long...

I did the same thing...

But with the Super Redhawk .44 and the .44 Trapper....
Great minds think alike???

Great combo you have there!!!!

Might I ask what gun leather you will tote said GP in?
I would go with something nice and carved...... http://mernickleholsters.com

Keep thinking I like my 4" GP100 better than a 6", that is until I start looking at pic's and the revolver up close and personal. Keep think that one GP100 is enough. Also, keep thinking that one of these days "will" power is going to soundly trounce "won't" power and I'll be forced to get one with a 6" barrel.

Great looking pics!

Nice pick. I have one of the 4" models in SS. I added a Hogue Goncalo Alves monogrip it it and it sure is purty.
