is always a good choice.
LGS has one in stainless for $549, in the used case
When both parties leave a trade completely happy with the outcome, an angel gets her wings .
Let us know how it shoots for you when you get a chance.
C502xxx dates to 1961-62 in case you didn’t already know. My high school years!
Thanks, one of the things I was wondering. The gun was pretty dirty and needed some oil, but it cleaned up very well, it looks virtually new now. I know that the couple inherited it and are most definitely not gun people, I believe they just wanted it gone.
Looking forward to a range report.
Throw a BK Grip adapter on it for $25 and it will feel better.
Had one of these laying around, gonna give it a try first.
Congrats! You most definitely came out ahead on that deal!
I really, really like it. The trigger is way better than a j-frame and it is very accurate for a snub with fixed sights.
I would guess “Yes”. I wouldn’t shoot them, not that there should be a problem with that, but I would bet some Collector would love to get their hands on that box, especially full of cartridges.
I have no idea what it would be worth.
I think so too. Didn't take but a minute to find this, the box appears to be from the era of 1946-1960, so it's a definite possibility.
Thanks, GNP. That's a great link!
I recently acquired a 2" '51 HE in .32 and I have to agree, that trigger on these pre-J frames are so smooth and light.
