I've been looking for a CZ 527FS but they discontinued them. I just love the look of the mannlicher full length stock, wanted a nice small caliber bolt gun.
I like the picasso in the background lol.The 457s a little smaller than the 527 but not by alot.

I was looking at those too. Might be a good fit.I still need to try the new Burris full field iv there's a few that maybe good on the cz.
Sorry, but didn’t finish. It’s a Meopta Optika 3-18 Scope on it. I plan on using it mostly at the range. Attached is a pic of a 5 shot group. I’ve put about 60 rounds down the barrel.
I've been eyeing the euro, probably just get the normal varmint tho I can't decide between the 223 or 6.5grendel one in 6arc would be great.
Unfortunately I think it will take years, I'm normally wrong tho. Wish I had a action tho for 2-3 hundred could have a nice barrel made.If they make a 6 Arc I’m grabbing one!
How does the 7.62 shoot? Here it sits with its older brother the 7.62x39 carbine.View attachment 966250

The wood is great! A few pics here to try and show it off. Not exhibition grade but plenty nice for a woods walking rifle. Action is slick, and the barrel is nicely free floated. And it has the new bottom metal for the shorter mags! This is a very nice, well balanced rifle. I am so excited, can't wait to shoot it!
I suggest you do give it enough glass to take advantage of the accuracy that it should be delivering. The 527s will shoot very well once you find the ammo that they like, but they can be pretty picky. I'm talking about 100 yard groups ranging from .3" to 1.5" depending upon the (factory) ammo you feed them. Now I've got to decide what scope I want on this thing! I think it deserves some higher power glass than I was initially planning...
Thanks for the info, I was looking at one of those sightrons. How much does it weigh?Nice looking gun!

There's a nice Sightron S-TAC 4-20x50 with their MOA-2 reticle that's being sold at a bargain on GB right now by the gigantic seller Sportsman Supply (auctions are ending at about $300) that should work well. I just bought one that I'm thinking of using in place of the Vortex Viper that I currently have on my 527 Varmint. I need to test and compare the two scopes a bit more closely, but I'm thinking that I like the Sightron better. The main thing that I don't like about the Vortex is that it has a Mil-Dot reticle, otherwise it's pretty decent. (Note, if you take a look at the above-mentioned S-TAC scope, be aware that the reticle subtensions are much finer than they appear in the online images/renderings. They look very coarse online, but in person they are really nice, IMO.)

How do you like the Meopta scope? Have a buddy that has the Meopta Meostar spotting scope. The glass in his spotting scope is unbelievable.
