I love mine.

Re accuracy: it's a fun plinker, but the plastic receiver is pretty flexible. For example, I get a different impact point if I shoot it Highpower style (standing with support arm under or just in front of the mag) vs 3 gun style (support hand out at the end of the handguard). Unless you're shooting carefully off bags I think that's likely to limit practical accuracy a little.

"Most 22lr magazines have that button exposed to help with loading"

AFAIK all the S&W 15-22 mags have the button (unless you're talking Black Dog's 50 round drum), but many 22LR magazines for 22LR AR15's (other than the 15-22) have solid sides.

Ejector: be careful when cleaning.

Using a bore snake, I snagged the long ejector. Bent it just a hair, but enough to cause feeding problems. Fixed with a pair of pliers.

^ Does anyone know if a bore guide is available for this rifle? Ejector / extractor (whatever it is) shaves coating off my cleaning rods.

Thanks.

On mine, the ejector overlaps the bore (that is, if you project the bore diameter backwards, the projected bore intersects the ejector).

So, for a convential rear mounted bore guide to work, it would have to have a hole (and thus a rod) rather smaller than the bore. I didn't measure closely, but it looked like my '22 cal' rods might not be small enough to work. Has anyone made a bore guide?

I just use a pull through (a length of weed eater line with the front end cut at an angle to pierce the patch, and a blob melted on the rear end to hold the patch). I made a guide to fit in the flash hider to prevent the pull through from contacting the crown.
