This is a great combination that so far has proven to be super reliable and surprisingly accurate ... and I can see the sights over the suppressor!

I (and others) have shot 300 rounds of GEMTECH .22 LR subsonic and Remington Golden Bullet through this pistol/suppressor with zero cleaning and zero malfunctions from either the pistol or the ammunition. The slide locked back on every empty magazine, all 30 times, and there were no jams, misfeeds, stove pipes, FTF, FTE, etc. I didn't even clean or oil the pistol out of the box since it appeared to arrive with plenty of oil on the critical parts. I did treat the new suppressor to the silicon oil process to make future cleaning easy. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that the Remington ammo seems to be subsonic from the pistol which might be due to the barrel length but I plan on shooting over a chrony at some point ... probably when the S&W M&P15-22 MOE arrives. I have thousands of the "new" Remington GB fodder and have yet to experience any failures. I plan on buying spare magazines and doing something to improve the DA/SA trigger pull which is currently at 17.5lb/6.5 lb or threabouts!! SA is OK but DA is ridiculous.

Nice setup. 'gratz.

I also run Gemtech's subsonics in a Walther (P22) with a can and have yet to have a single malfunction. Works flawlessly and it is real quiet. What more can a guy ask for? :)

Thanks Swing! The GEMTECH ammo seems to be cleaner than the Remington ammo but both work flawlessly ... and I have a lot more of the GB stuff so I can live with the slight increase in fouling. I'll take the suppressor apart after 500 rounds to inspect the baffles and clean/oil the pistol. I ordered two spare factory magazines yesterday from Cheaper Than Dirt for $21.90 each. The trigger will be a more difficult fix but I might order a Wolff mainspring to see if that reduces the trigger pull a little without adversely affecting reliability. For anyone considering this all steel pistol as a suppressor host, the SA trigger is fine at around 6lb so the DA trigger isn't a deal breaker for me.
