Does the savage 12v have the same action as a 10/110? Like could you use a chassis or stock for the 10/110 on the 12v?
New rifle wanted. What should I get?

yeah, besides the target actions and the Axis, all savage CURRENT savage "10" actions are the same foot print within their length family.
What savages current numbering scheme is I dont know as i believe they have changed it recently.
Before the recent changes, all 2 digit model numbers were short action and all 3 digit numbers were long action. But way before that, everything had a 3 digit model number.
But to answer your question. Yes it doesn't matter if it is a Model 10. 11, 12, 14 , or 16, they all share the same short action receiver. Same goes with the 110, 111, 112, 114, and 116 being long action.

One thing to look out for is that some Savage such as the 10TR have a bottom bolt release that may not be compatible with some chassis systems.
