I too have fallen under the spell of the ROA. My SS 51/2" is just my favorite pistol.

I had Lee's Gunsmithing do an action job, true up the barrel face and open up the forcing cone. I also had him remove the idiot warning label from the barrel. Then I went haywire and sent it to Clement and had him clean up and deepen the chambers. I also found a pair of corian grips with a blind screw. Only one grip panel has a screw hole.

I've also bought a Kirst cylinder and Belt Mountain pin. I've yet to play around with it that much...I just love the C&B ROA.

I've been thinking weirdly about finding an average donor SS ROA and sending it to Clement and having him do the ultimate cha cha on it. .50 cal cylinder,octagon barrel, Power Custom grip frame...you know, the stuff dreams are made of.

Since your talking about Rugers I have a question to through out. How much powder does the ROA hold and what is the common charge used for shooting it?
Thanks;
W
