Got a arsenal sgl 20 from k var a couple weeks ago for $599.00 Just wanted to post a little report. Sold my wasr to fund the sgl and the first thing that jumped out at me was how tight everything was. Im mean really tight. i couldnt even move the axil pin to remove the gas tube. Mags fit tight. zero side to side wobble and just a little front to back movement 1/4 to 1/2mm. Finish looks good we will see how it holds up to a good cleaning.
I thought my sights were slightly canted but after looking up some pictures of actual canted sights i determined that i was just trippin. Have not had a chance to take it to the range yet but if it shoots as good as it feels and looks i will be one happy camper.
I just cant get over how loose and floppy everything on my wasr was compared to this one. Dont get me wrong i loved my wasr but this feels like such a better rifle.
