I bought a new Vortex Viper HS scope about 2 weeks ago, 6 X 24, man I am stoked on how this has helped me in shooting my 788 Rem. in .223. I went to the range this past Fri., shot it at 50 yards to make sure it was on the paper. After making a couple of minor corrections, I shot the last 3 rounds into "one" hole before moving target to 100 yards. I was high RT on the first 2 shots, corrected scope and shot 5 more rounds, all but one, just outside the "same hole" of the other 4 rounds, but cutting that hole just the same. I have never owned a scope of this caliber, what a superb piece of glass! I was so intrigued to get this sighted in, I hadn't even bothered to move the power up from 6X, guess I didn't need to!
I have a pair of Vortex binoculars, Viper 15 X 50's, superb glass, but wasn't aware their scopes were of this quality also, until this past Fri. If one is needing a new scope, or just wanting to upgrade an existing one, give Vortex a look, you won't be sorry !
