Good shooting. Glad to see that your initial firing went well. Sounds like you have a very servicable side arm at a very good price. Should there be any problems S&W has a very good service record. I doubt you will need them though.

My son bought one about a year ago. Has easily had 1000+ rounds through it with no problems at all. The trigger takes some getting use to but my son is very accurate with his. The last time we went shooting he was shooting empty shotgun shells off of a 2x4. Keep it and enjoy. Save up your money ugrade later but keep this one for your wife to shoot:D
By the way, Winchester white box bulk packs at Wal-Mart for $10.98 are hard to beat.

Be Safe.

Unless you live near an Academy Sports and Outdoors store...in which case you can get CCI Blazer for $3.86 per 50.

I had a Sigma SW9VE. It had a couple of problems, which S&W fixed. Put a lot of rounds through that gun, and got pretty good with it. I had the Wolf reduced tension striker spring in mine, which gave it a better trigger pull. With double action only, I never saw a need for a safety. There are not many new guns that you can still buy for under $300.00 with a lifetime warranty.
