new shotgun

i just got my first shotgun a made in Brazil by cbc imported by FIE model SB 12 gauge 3 inch modified. it looks and feels nice but the recoil on it is crazy it has a steel butt plate and it hurts when you shoot it. does any one make a recoil pad for this gun? will it make it easyer to shoot.

do any of you have this model what did you do to it to make it a batter shooter.

A limbsaver slip on recoil pad would be an easy way to reduce recoil.

You could also have a grind to fit pad installed.

Both of those are good options, also I only shoot game loads at game. If you're practicing at cans or clays use target loads and you'll barely feel it kick.

Besides making sure the gun fits, a good pad and light loads as suggested are about the onlyl things you can do to lighten recoil. What loads are you using now??
