New Sig 220ST Range Report

Just came back from the range after my first round with my new Sig P220ST.

Put 100 rounds of Win. White box ammo through it without even a HINT of a hiccup. Ran smoothly and flawlessly.

Put all 100 shots in a 12-inch circle. The center got blown out so I had to move to fresh paper! Being a first-timer, I felt that was pretty good. I'll do better next time!

Anyway, lovin' my new Sig!

Congrats. The 220ST is still my favorite .45 ACP for the range.

Yes! It's my first Sig! And I've gotta say, I'm impressed! The accuracy and smoothness of this weapon is amazing. Ordered some magtech ammo online but it will not be here until next week. Think I'll go get more WWB this weekend!

Maybe it is the extra weight of the Stainless, but I was amazed at how little recoil the 220 has. I absolutely love shooting it!

I'm hooked!

I predict that soon he'll be hangin out at http://www.sigforum.com/ feeding his SIG addiction.

Then he'll be thinking to himself, the P220ST is a fantastic gun, but it's a little too heavy for daily carry. Perhaps an aluminum frame 220 would be a good companion for the ST.

After having the 220 for a while he'll think, it's a little big for daily carry, perhaps a P228 would be good for carry.

After that he'll realize that he doesn't have the classic P226, and that a P239 might be even better for carry.
