CDNN is currently running a special on SIG pistols (actually, come to think of it, they seem to always be running specials on SIG pistols!), and I've always wanted to add one to my collection.
I've heard good things about the SP2340, and CDNN's price was definitely in my territory (read cheap!), so I bit the bullet and ordered one. Here it is:
It's a little on the bulky side for a pistol with a 3.9" barrel, but it feels really good in the hands when fitted with the smaller of the two grip panels included in the package.
I shot it for the first time yesterday, and was astounded at its accuracy: at 20 yards, shooting offhand and using my light target handloads, I was able to keep almost all of my shots in a 3" group clustered around the bullseye. It certainly helped that the SA trigger had a very crisp and clean (albeit a tad heavy) break. Accuracy-wise, this particular SP2340 is definitely in CZ territory!
It's a keeper.
