New Springfield 1911's for 2006: What's the Difference?

I just saw a brand new catalogue for the new Springfield 1911's. I can't seem to find the images anywhere online now. The wood gripped 1911 Loaded's had Springfield logo grips. Anyone have a pic of one of these? Know when they'll be available?

I have Springer's press pack from the show. If no one else comes up with what you want I'll try to post a scanned image later today.

Ya' interested in the "loaded full-sized," right?

Well you ask, and this is it. Of course Springer has more "Loaded" models then General Motors has cars... :D

Since they are made with the Springfield Armory logo, which is a registered trademark, I suspect that the only way would be to order them from Springer. They may be in short supply for awhile, but I suspect they would be glad to sell you a pair.

After all, $$$ is $$$. :D

If you want the grips without the logo, go to: www.cdnnsports.com

Be aware that they have a flat $10.00 shipping charge.

I don't have any experience with that particular company, but their prices seem competitive.

There are any number of companies that make similar grips out of various hardwoods. Another one you might look into is Houge, Inc. at:

www.getgrip.com

Edited to add: Also www.ajaxgrips.com

I do like the new Springfield Operators, they come with the SA wood grips also. The way the dustcover mates with the slide, very nice. Too bad I don't have a picture of it.

Looks good though. :)
