Very nice one handed carbine.. You know you have done stepped out onto the slippery slope don't you?

Enjoy!

This is my 4th .357 I have a S&W 586, Ruger security six and a ruger GP100 but this is my first pinned and recessed Smith. Now I need a 29-2 and a 25-2 LOL

Found her at a gun show today Gentleman had a S&W box with w 66-2 in it and I said i sure wish that was a 27-2 he said i have one in the truck didnt have enough hands to bring it in. Straight to the truck we went LOL

I'd be a real happy camper to find a shooter 27-2 with a 3&3/4" barrel just looks right to me.

I need it like another hole in my head, but I still want one.

Mine would be an older blued 5" model. For me that's the perfect barrel length and has just the right balance.

I like the 5" full lug barrel on my 629 classic.
I shoot shorter barrels just fine, and prefer the speed and ease of which a 4" (or less) clears leather.

If you're going to keep it unfired, barrel length is superfluous.

If the deal was right and I had cash, I'd still bring it home with me! But unfired it would not remain long

Call me old fashioned but when I think of a revolver, that is exactly what a revolver should be.
Very nice! Congrats.
