After reading all the reviews on the Italian surplus Beretta Mod.81 32ACP pistols I went on line at Classic Firearms and took advantage of their sale on these advertised as “Good” to “”Very Good”. My pistol arrived at my LGS today. I opted not to pay the additional $25.00 for hand select. I did purchase an additional magazine. Based on what I’ve read on THR I expected to receive a somewhat tired but serviceable 80% give or take LEO trade-in with plenty of “character”. As you can see from the attachments, and based on the other reviews, I really lucked out. In my estimation, my pistol is more in the range of 95%. Based on the condition of the frame rails, slide rails and barrel, this pistol has a very low round count and has been carried very little. Only a hint of blue thinning on the slide edges. The frame and grips are usually what takes the beating. Only very slight edge wear on the trigger guard and grips are also in the 95% range. All for $299 out the door. This price included shipping, tax and LGS transfer fee. If I could have gotten two or three in this condition I would have jumped on it!

Congratulations! Mine is extremely nice also. They are a tremendous bargain. You will enjoy shooting it for many years. :)

Nice looking pistol. I'm sure you'll enjoy shooting it. Mine has been a load of fun. A beautiful classic addition to any collection.

Does the small case make handloading 32 ACP a nuisance? I have no handloading experience whatsoever. Given what people have told me about handloading 32 S&W Long, I would expect that shooting a 32 automatic with handloads would be very economical.
