New to me rifle

I just picked up a good used Remmington 7400 30-06, with a 3 x 9 Burris Sportview scope. $285. The finish isn't perfect, but it is feels real good. I am planning on taking it out to shoot this afternoon. I feel very good about this purchase, I traded for my boys a pair of bolt 30-06s to hunt with and even though I picked up that Browning 308 the other day I decided to get another 06 for me to take when I hunt with them. Only have to take 1 box of shells when we go. And one can NEVER have to many guns!

Had a chance to go out and shoot my 7400 yesterday afternoon. Had some extractor problems but a good cleaning (was gummed up pretty good) fixed that and it performed flawlessly. Pretty accurate off hand, (I need to get out the sand bags and fine tune the scope in for me), but overall I am still very happy with it, low recoil, handles well, etc.
