new(to me) taurus 140 mil pro

i just baught a used mil pro in 40 cal with the blue slide as a truck gun its got some holster wear but i like that its a good sighn of good use cant wait to try it out, whats a good grain bullet for the small huns with short barrels? do lighter bullets expand better out of shorter barrels? thanks for any info.

out of my MilPro .40, 155 grain works best. Being a lighter bullet helps with velocity out of a shorter barrel. I hear the 180 grain don't perform as well but that is all hearsay. I have no specific numbers or anything, just what I have heard and read.
