New toys in the safe, what to do with them?

Last month, I owned two bolt action rifles. One was a Ruger m77MkII .30-06' (an excellent rifle, my first hunting rifle) and the other was a custom .300 Weatherby built on a Howa 1500 (stock still in the works). I also had a naked Turkish Mauser action that had been nicely prepped to become a sporter (ground off charger hump, surface ground front ring, new custom bolt handle, drilled and tapped for Leupold one-piece scope mount).

The rifle Gods must not have thought this was good enough (I'm generally a handgun man). All of a sudden, the naked action should be back from my machinist this week with a pac-nor barrel, chambered in .257 Roberts Ackley Improved. The stock (MPI synthetic) will take a few weeks to bed and refinish, and I'll have another gun in my safe.

Then last week I bought a Swedish Mauser short rifle that has been half sporterized already. I had planned on turning this one into a nice lightweight hunting rifle (new barrel, stock, etc). I had planned on leaving it in 6.5 x 55 swede because its a good deer caliber and its readily available in commercial loadings (not to mention that there aren't many other calibers to use that have that pressure or lower).

Now today, another Swedish Mauser made its way into my possession. This one again a half sporterized gun, but a long rifle this time. The question is, what do I do with it? Its beyond the point of restoring to original military and I already had another 6.5x55 build in the works. No point in leaving it the way it is, but I cannot sell it either (family gift).

So what kind of build should I do with it?

Its a great problem to have. Like I said, new toys in the safe.
