I previously posted about a new Discovery show looking for guns, weapons, firearms, etc. to be featured on television.

I've heard some amazing stories, found some cool firearms in need of repair, got some great recommendations...

Let us know what else you'd like to see made, blown up, repaired, refurbished, concocted, discussed, imagined, revived, created, designed, fabricated, envisioned, imagined - you name it!

For more information, check out the links below.

The featured company that will be doing all the work:

The production company producing the show for Discovery:

I'd like to see antique firearms deconstructed and rebuilt to modern tolerances.

(and in full production to allow us all to shoot to our hearts content without feeling bad about the parts)

Broomhandle Mausers for everyone!

Glad you agree, i can't stress that enough. Its time everyone knows the truth behind them and that they aren't bad evil hitman tools from the movies.

To show that suppressors are not illegal and should be used by all.

In addition might as well do a feature on NFA guns in general.

Segment 1: NFA guns are not illegal
Segment 2: Suppressors are not magic silencers, especially not on .30 caliber rifles either.
Segment 3: 30 round magazine * 700rpm/60 does not equal a magic endless bullet machine.
Segment 4: Rapid fire of 30 rounds does not mean you can hit anything worth a darn.
Segment 5: Short Shotguns do not blow down the room of a wall from 3 feet a way because they spread so wide

Sorry for the rant, probably best to incorporate those issues as they pertain to the firearms at hand throughout the series.

Take some average people who have never fired a handgun before. Give them training on various aspects of shooting...from bulls eye to defensive shooting. Follow then and see how they do.

That would be an interesting and enlightening reality show. You could also follow their thoughts and sentiments on gun ownership.

You can start with my girlfriend.

Might be interesting.

:)
