Just thought I'd introduce myself and say hello. I discovered TFL a few weeks ago but shortly thereafter saw it was closing, so I didn't register. I found THR this evening and it seems to be a haven for all the TFL refugees.

I've been shooting since I was a kid (pretty common for us Florida natives) and I enjoy hunting, mostly small game and birds. I shot trap regularly up until a couple of months ago, when we moved from Orlando to Haines City. I need to get back to it, so if anyone knows of a good club or two in this area (Polk County, FL), I'd love to learn about it!

I also enjoy shooting a few rifles and handguns, though I don't compete.

Looks like a great site, and I'm looking forward to being a regular participant.

    Welcome Ed!

You will find that deft Smilie control is a MUST when interacting with the denizens of THR! :p Just remember to always point your Smilie in a safe direction; Unintentional Smiles, while rare, do occur (DA/SA smilies are recommended). Also if your Smilie jams or you suffer an FTS (Failure To Smile), just remember the old TRS (Tap-Rack-Smile) drill! Dissasembly of Smilie is discouraged unless you are a qualified Smiliesmith.

Welcome aboard, Ed N! I posted on TFL for several months, then I moved here when TFL closed. A great number of TFL posters have made this their new home.
