On impulse, I just traded a M9 for a HK USPc 45. I really liked the M9, but never really shot it much anymore and hardly ever carried it out of the house. I really wanted to get a new 45 since I had to sell my 1911 and went to the store looking at the new compact version of the 220. On a whim I picked up the HK and liked it a lot. I like that it gives me the option of carrying with the hammer down or cocked and locked. It feels pretty good in my hand, and the fit and finish is very nice. I have an understanding with the spousal unit that the number of firearms I currently own will remain constant (with the exception of classic Smith and Wesson revolvers or used deals that are too good to pass up) so I traded away the berretta and went home with the HK. Best part is I still have an older 92fs. I tried to go shooting today, but it seems that the local range was tied up with a class. Curses!

Does anyone know of a convienient source for the flat floor plates for the USPc magazines? Both my mags came with the finger rest, and I'd kind of like to change that.

HK's can be very addicting ;) Congrats on the new addition! As for floor plates, check out the classifieds over on hkpro.com
