Boxer primed?

$12.67 here...I think I will pick up some.

Well the ghetto renton walmart was finally out of this ammo, but they did have winchester NATO 9mm. Really unexpected, and I was really planning on getting more.

Ended up with 4 boxes of nato and 2 boxes regular $9.50 9mm

Well, I bought 16 boxes. That's cheaper price than the WWB. They still have lots more. I guess the customers just don't know what it is...

Please be aware, my local indoor shooting range has banned this ammo. They say the bullets have a steel core which causes excessive sparking on the back wall.

Wal-Mart has dropped the price only because it is not selling!

I have lots of this for my CZ's. The last time I ran it it read 1195, 1212, 1191, 1257, and 1189. That was out of my CZ Phantom over a PACT Pro XP. Burns extremely clean.

The new RWS and DAG head stamped ammo is being made by the Swiss conglomerate RUAG Ammotec. My guess is that these two brands are being made in the Thun factory.

BTW, the brass is some of the best quality stuff I have seen, very consistent.

my indoor range didn't stop me, but then again they only inspect shotgun and rifle rounds. I should probably ask them next time.

Either way, it shot good. It's accurate, clean, and does have a more noticeable kick to it. Definitely hotter than the other stuff.

Ill be shooting this weekend. I think I will save my NATO rounds as they have sealed primers, but this stuff looks so polished I cant wait. Of course, a USP is going to have no issues but still.

I was sad to see the ghetto walmart was out of all 9mm last weekend. First time in 4 or 5 visits that I didnt walk out with ammo. I really wanted some more of this ammo.

One of my local walmart has the RWS 9mm marked down to 12.97 per box. I may try some for the heck of it. We have a local indoor range that inspects your ammo and will try to take your own ammo from you so you can not shoot it in there rental guns. This applies to your own reloads and certain factory like Remington UMC. I would not give them my property so the woman asked me to promise not to use the UMC. I chuckled but agreed. I still shoot there sometimes but they have weird policies especially if they think its going to cut into there ammo and related sales. There prices are bit higher than most on firearms though. But they have a good selections of late model rental guns which are good to try if you are in the market.

How common is copper plated steel/lead 9mm ball? I have a bunch of Norinco and American Eagle brand? In fact I have so much I could sell some off, unless it had a value above target ammo.

Shot a box of this last Tuesday. Very clean, very accurate. Made some awesome sparks on the backstop at the range. I will not be using it at indoor ranges anymore, but it is very good stuff.

I find it slightly amusing someone didn't immediately know RWS by name. I'd kill the president of Paraguay with a fork to be able to get the component Sinoxid primers.

So... any idea how deep the gilding is on the bullet? Do I dare run this in my 9mm Luger?
