This is my first post here. Ever since 1964 the Riflemans Rifle has been produced using a lot of manufacturing short cuts making the pre 64 rifles all the more desirable. Prior to the New Haven plant shutting down FN acquired the company and the quality of their Model 70s has improved a lot. The FN produced Winchesters are once again superb quality firearms and the new Model 70 showcases that quality. The receivers and barrels are produced in FNs North Carolina factory then sent to their factory in Portugal for finishing and assembly. When I first saw this Super Grade I couldn't resist buying it. I was going to buy on in 30-06 but since I've never owned a 270 I bought this one in that inconic Winchester caliber. A nice rifle like this deserves a decent optic so I thought this Swarovski Z3 appropriate.
