I have personally shot in snow down to the teens to single digits. Honestly the worst part is loading the magazines.

As has been said some lubes could start to gum up and slow actions down. Not a safety issue so to speak (unless somebody is shooting back :D) but will cause malfunctions but most good gun lubes need REALLY cold weather before that happens.

You might need to pay a little more attention to your cleaning and oiling as going from cold, cold to hot (heated car, case, house etc.) might cause condensation on the guns and that moisture should be dealt with.

All in all though have fun. No worries especially at a balmy 37 degrees. :D Just shoot and clean as normal.

I found that snow is a but slippery for shooting clays. We had to be a bit careful. Pocket handwarmers are nice.

I used to have that handgun and noticed that the time I tried it with gloves I had problems with the trigger. Curious if that is an issue for you or if they fixed it or whatnot.

Derek,

Welcome to THR. A couple of winters ago I was at an outdoor range with a friend while it was 10 degrees, even colder with the windchill with snow blowing sideways. We were, of course the only 2 knuckleheads there but had a lot of fun despite the conditions. As others have stated, you have no worries. Have fun. The P07 is a great gun.

Thanks again for the responses. Unfortunately my plan to shoot today were foiled by having to work. So I now plan to go next Wednesday and it's supposed to be warmer. I'll do the best I can to post a range report of my first go afterwards. Thanks again.

I practice in all types of weather....cold, very cold, hot and humid, rain. You never know when bad guys will try to do bad things to you. Practice at -10 without gloves and memorize that sting you feel in your hands. You may not always have your comfy gloves handy.

Mechanically no. Wear gloves. And probably a hat. I have gone shooting in temperatures hitting -70F including wind chill. Things still went bang as they were supposed to.

hiya. you may wish to handle your gun at home while wearing gloves.
i can shoot my 22/45 while wearing gloves just fine, but i can't use gloves with my single 10. there isn't enow room inside the trigger guard to get a gloved finger in.
