NFA goes under - what would you buy/want?

hso, this is all about fantasy, and since in my fantasies I am just a little wealthy, an M240B with a reflex sight.

In the fantasy where I am not so rich an M16 of some type since I have a LOT of brass and am set up to reload 5.56.
 
NFA will still exist, but the machine gun registry might be forced open again.
 
I'ld register a bunch of my AR-15 recievers, and stock up on H&K auto sears.
 
One thing I'd like to know: Why is it that so many politicians want to deprive the state's children and elderly folks of the important tax monies that openeing the registry would bring? Why *exactly* do they hate America and all that is good?

Other than a .22 something or other...

I'd get a PPsh41, as the milsurp tokarev rounds are pretty cheap.
Also, a select fire ak-74, since at this point the ammo for that is relatively cheap as well. The recoil is light enough that it might actually be semi-controllable to shoot one of those FA.
 
Hmm, my choices are a bit weird, but so am I...

Lessee, a Degtyarev light machine gun , and Lewis light machine gun, and a Colt Potato Digger, and something I've wanted to design and build since I was a little kid ; a belt-fed, water-cooled, crew-served machine gun in .25ACP.

Just for the sillyness that is in it.

Oh, yeah, of course a Thompson, too.
 
My full auto wish list would be:

MG-3, the 7.62mm NATO version of the WWII classic MG-42
Browning Automatic Rifle, the Colt Monitor version without the bipod
H&K MP-5
BREN Gun, the later 7.62 NATO conversions that the Brit used up until recently.
And last but not least, a select fire Russian AKM with wood laminate furniture.
 
9mm HK MP5 (or even better the MP5SD)

5.56mm/.223 HK 416 with an additional 10.5in bbl suppressed upper
 
A ump45 would be cool but I would go with a supressed m-3 grease gun. Some times older is better
 
I'd change out my AR-15 for a real M16 lower. Then I'd have to pick up a quality .22lr upper to run on so I could afford to shoot it full auto.

Then I'd replace my SAR-1 with a real AK.

After that? Dunno.
 
I can't believe no one else seems to want what I do... if the NFA were repealed, or even if the 86 ban on new MGs to the registry were overturned, I'd like to add 3-shot burst to an AR15 (or be able to buy I guess what would be an M16 of some sort). Wouldn't use it that much but it would be nice to have. Any concerns about stopping power of 223 ought to be alleviated by effectively multiplying rounds on target by 3.
