Even though I would normally choose the 30-30 because of the terrain you will be in I'm voting for the .243 because of the comfort level you have with that rifle. The .243 will drop a White Tail with 1 shot if you do your job.

Good luck on your first hunt and don't get so involved with making a kill that you forget to enjoy just being there... :)
 
I voted .243. I have shot a lot of deer with a 243 including two opening morning of this Missouri deer season and they don't move far. I have never had one go more than 10 yards. This is shooting from 12 yards to 165 yards.
 
I would probably take the .243 since that is the one you are more comfortable with. But then again looking at your targets, you are pretty good with both with just the fence post for a rest. 7600's are great guns, I am taking mine out monday for the first day of PA deer season. Good luck.
