guys,
I use nickel plated necked down .308 brass when i load for my 7mm08. i am about to start to work up a new load with 120gr bullets with h4895. I am a little concerned as to whether the nickel plated brass reacts diferently to standard brass to pressure. Will the only pressure signs i see be on the primer now?

They load the same. They fire the same. You may sense easier chambering and extraction (doubt it, but)...Some say they don't last through as many reloadings as standard brass...

i use nickel plated brass for my hunting rounds in my 45/70. i work up the loads with standard brass. i have never noticed any differences in pressure between the two. the reason for the nickel brass for hunting? because it will get used less, and i got a deal on it. the regular brass is easier on dies and supposedly will last longer.

No difference, aside from the usual minor differences encountered when loading any particular batch of brass.

They do no more harm with nickel plated brass then standard brass. Nickel is softer then carbide steel. You clean your standard brass so clean your nickel plated brass before you run it through your dies...
