In my reloads ive noticed a few things,

pros nickel
1. nickel stays cleaner longer by far, i use blackpowder loads in 357 mag.
2. nickel dosnt seem to stick as bad as reg brass in chambers
cons nickel
1. less reloads by far than reg brass
pros reg brass
1. more reloads
cons
1. wont stay clean with BP loads at all
2. sticks worse after firing BP loads

id like to hear any other things people have found with these two, and who knows maybe some tips anyone has to share.

Pretty well covered. The biggest knock I have on nickle-plated (other than shorter life) is, after processing a few times, the nickle tends to flake off in the sizing die requiring it to be removed and cleaned...major PITA. I don't know if it's just me but being an old-timer, I don't seem to remember the plating flaking off so quickly a few years ago as does today's cases. I swear, I don't think the plating is nearly as durable as it used to be.

I don't like finding speckles of nickel inside my gun...some cases are worse than others.
As a rule, I throw it in the trash.

Nickel cases look soooo pretty when you load 'em with Hornady XTP's and Winchester Silver Tip HP's. I joke with my buddies and call my Nickel STHP loads my "vampire killers".

Nickel stays shinier longer in leather belt loops. It's also nice when you build up a pet load to stockpile it in nickel.

I'm not afraid to admit it... I like shiny objects. :)

IMHO, nickle plated brass is like designer camouflage. I'll use it if someone gives it to me, but I ain't gonna pay extra for it. When it comes to pretty and my reloads, I think they're the prettiest when they hit inside the ten ring.
