Nickle vs Brass cases

I have been reloading for 30 years,so I have some Idea what I'm doing.all my nickel brass problems were necks splitting and super hard seating bullets no matter how much prep.these were all bottle neck rifle cases.

I have only used nickel in .22-250 loading once finred winchester factory loads and had several of the case necks split. I have never had regular brass winchester split. The nickel just seems to be more brittle.
