You may receive a UPIN after submitting a Voluntary Appeal File (VAF). The FBI will only issue one if it will help to prevent unnecessary DENYs or EXTENDED DELAYs.Yes, I agree with the previous post for applying for a UPIN. It eliminates, well most of the time, the "delay". It is easy to apply for and if you have no previous trouble with the law, you can get in in a week.
Lets leave the DENY out of this for now, how on earth will anyone know why their transfer was delayed?
So lets say this DELAY happens every time. What exactly should be submitted as "evidence", with your VAF application, which will hopefully get you a UPIN, so NICS will stop with the DELAYs?
Someone with a UPIN, who submitted a VAF because they were getting DELAYED, and who is no longer DELAYED, please post here so the DELAYees know how to go about this. Please.
