Watching the local New York news at 11 tonight (satellites are wonderful things!) I saw that they have made a major bust there for the Nigerian scam. Actually ran one out of NY and suckered some dumb guy in Fla. Who got smart and helped the cops reel them in. Of course he lost $17,500 before he got smart. Ouch!

I gotta agree with those who have no pity for the victims of these frauds. It stuns me to think there are people out there who could believe that crap. I've received the bogus e-mails are they are so blatantly fake that the people who fall for it don't deserve to keep their money. I'll admit though, the 'Burlap Bag Boy' story sounds real enough. That kid 's got my sympathy ...
