As the title says, looking for recommendations on what night sights you prefer and why. Prefer fixed sights.

Gun is a Ruger SR 9 if that matters.

Trijicon HD or Ameriglo Pro Sights.

The enormous fluourescent front sight dot and subdued rear are perfect, but the front sight is the same size as a normal sight, so you don't lose the precision you do with the XS Big Dot.

It might. Being a double action CZ carrier, I've found that accessories for other than Glock's and M&P's can be harder to come by in some cases. I use and like Trijicon. Next set I try will be the ones from Haley Strategic.

Since it’s not a long-established model the answer may well be “whatever brand you can actually find.”

I put Trijocon on a 1911, they're ok, can't complain, huge improvement over GI sights, but the ameriglo sights on the Springfield 911 are fantastic

I have Trijicon HD's on a Springfield XD9 service model and they are very durable. Not that I abuse my pistol or use it as a hammer but it gets carried daily, many times all day, on the farm and it isn't always in the best of environments.

I have Ameriglo i-Dots on both my Glocks and like them very much.

They are not target sights but work great. I opted for these over the "Big Dot" sights because I like to shoot at a little more than combat distance regularly. I have really come to like the system over a three Dot.

On my G26...

One thing to remember about night sights. You may be able to see these sights in dusk/dark conditions but if your target isn't lit up so you can see it the nighjt sights may not be that much help.

I have night sights on a NAA Pug and a Glock 17 .It’s hard to find a place to shoot at night.I try when ever I have the chance.
Night Sites are neat but you still have to see what your trying to hit.
We do well on coyotes with a good scope and moonlight no night sights.
