Night vision + rifle scope = ?

Hello guys and girls
I was wondering if anyone can tell me how to attach/use a night vision monocular with a day time rifle scope.

I was given a night owl pro 5 for free the other day and wanted to use it with my scope for feral hog hunting so I don't have to spotlight them.

The night vision is this http://www4.shopping.com/xPO-Night-...33~semid1-21871646~oq-Night-Owl-Optics-NOCX-5

And my scope is this http://www.bushnell.com/general/riflescopes_elite3200_32-3940b.cfm

Anybody know how to do this? I have searched and searched and can't seem to find out how to use the night vision with the rifle scope as a combo. Any help would be great.

Maybe Duct-Tape?

I don't think there is any practical way to mount a NV viewing Monocular to a rifle scope.

The NV devices designed for use in conjunction with a scope sight have their own rail mount that puts them in proper position in front of the scope.

You can't. Not with that setup anyway.

You could get a NV capable Eo-Tech sight and mount your NV behind it.

The best option is to get an IR laser...unfortunately manufacturers are not allowed to sell to civilians. Civilians are allowed to own them, manufacturers just can't sell them, and there are some out there to be bought but they're very pricy.

You can, however, build your own IR laser for about $150. Check this thread out from AR15.com

I just did a little more research on your question...it seems that the Bushnell type NV devices don't work well behind an Eo-Tech so scratch that idea.

Generation I devices also don't seem to pick up IR lasers well...I have no personal experience so I don't know for sure, just what I've read. So that might scratch the IR laser idea.

Maybe the easiest solution would be to use your NV to find them then use a red spotlight to shoot.
