Oh wow, that's a really good point that I never thought of before. Will the goggles even work with eyeglasses? I can't wear contact lenses - my right eye finds them... rather disagreeable. (Left eye is happy with them, right eye.. not so much).

Another thing worth mentioning... I'm *very* nearsighted; can read a book perfectly fine up to about 2 feet away, beyond that it goes downhill fast. If the monoculars have a short distance focal point I'd be fine using them without glasses.
 
So....if the bears in the woods are running around with their fancy NV gear turned on and I have a cheap (compared to what ya'll are talking about anyway) NV compatible red dot, would I see a pretty laser show from 100 yards out like free fireworks or not?

NV compatible red dot only means it has a setting that is so dim that it won't burn a spot on your NV tube. in other words, it does absolutely nothing if you're not viewing it through your own set of NV
