Can anyone tell me what i can expect with the BDC reticle? I just bought a Nikon Buckmaster 6x18x40 SF BDC off of ebay for $270 new in box. i figured if the BDC reticle didn't work for my .22-250, because it shoots too fast, i would still be able to use the dials to adjust the elevation. Does anyone have any experience with this scope? It arrives in 3 days and i will know alot more then, i am just anxious now as to what to expect with that reticle. I am afraid that the circles will be too fat to see a ground hog clearly at 600 yards. from the pictures online it looks like the crosshair and circles are pretty heavy. my loads velocities are usually around 3200 - 3900 fps. I do have a load that shoots around 4100fps though and I'm thinking that this one might be too fast because i understand it was developed for loads with velocities around 3000 fps. feel free to chime in and tell me what you guys think.
