Nikon Scope Question

I recently put a Nikon 4-14 Buckmanster scope with the BDC on my Remington 788 .223. I have zeroed the scope at 100 yards. Does anyone else have this scope with a .223? I am shooting 55 gram ammo, anyone know how the BDC works with this combo, are the 200, 300 etc. rings accurate? Thanks
