Hello,

I just purchased a new Browning 30-06, and I am in the process of deciding which scope to put on this rifle. I am considering the Nikon 8435 BDC - 3x9x40. I have seen this for sale between $250-$300.

Also, this has the BDC (Bullet Drop Compensating) reticle, and I am looking for anyone who has experience using this, and getting any feedback on how well it works for identifying aimpoints for longer distances.

Kind regards,

jmco

are you sure its a monarch and not a pro-staff?, nikon lists the team primos and the pro-staff in the same catagory in there product guide, but still there a good scope either way.

Yes it is a Monarch go for over to the optics talk forum and search. Pretty much Nikon discontinued the 3-9x40 Monarch UCC's for the 2.5-10x40. They put a BDC reticle and changed the name to Team Primos as to not compete with the new Monarch scope.
